For our cut and paste project, the fifth graders at Peyton Forest Elementary School learned how to make bats using black construction paper a long with fluorescent paper. Their directions included cutting the body and the wings of the bat. Adding their own style for eyes, teeth, ears, and legs. After our discussion on how bats live and when they fly, we practiced flying our bats. We used our bats to help decorate our fall harvest scary house.

This school year at Peyton Forest a very special non-profit organization named "Kaboom" came to our school to build us a playground. The Art-Club designed a mural to add to our playground. See pictures below...
